The Show

Musical Ty, zany little sis Allegra and their friends are typical kids with typical kid issues but they always have time to explore their fascinating desert neighborhood in Lobo Loco with Staccato, Allegra’s lively pet chick. The three are always meeting interesting people and finding new songs for Ty to play on his little colorful xylophone. They are more than delighted when they learn a new song and share it with you. Looks like Allegra’s gonna sing to the music. Dance Staccato, dance!

Ty and the others then turn their attention to the viewers and try to teach them the new song. Viewers don’t need to have a xylophone to participate, Ty and friends encourage them to sing and dance along with Staccato. When the song is over, Ty, Allegra, and Staccato interview real world children who are also interested in music.

Ty and Allegra is inspired by programs like VH1’s Save The Music, but is meant for a much younger audience. In this show, learning about and learning to play music will serve as a vehicle to encourage kids to have fun and be creative. Music utilizes the mind while dancing exercises the body.
